2023: SOUTHERN PRESIDENCY IS THE QUICK-FIX TO THE ONGOING SECESSION PLOTS IN NIGERIA - Ekiti IPAC Chair,

The Inter-party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Ekiti State, which is the statutory conglomeration of all the Registered Political Parties has stated through its State Chairman, Ifedayo Iyaniwura that it is only the Southern Presidency that can put a cease to the ongoing agitations of secession in Nigeria.


He made this Statement during the Inauguration Ceremony of the Ekiti State Chapter of South West Agenda codenamed, SWAGA '23 in Ado Ekiti the Capital of Ekiti State on Tuesday. According to the Ekiti State Chairman of IPAC, Ifedayo Iyaniwura, "it is imperative for everyone who believes in the unity of Nigeria to rally-round a Southerner to be the next President of Nigeria." 




He goes further to state that, "this is not about being tribalistic, but reality that all Nigerians must look deep into. According to him, "Presidency can not come from the Southwest, which is the Yoruba land and still be seeing Yoruba Nation or Oduduwa Republic agitators on the street. In the program, Iyaniwura appreciates the former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahamed Tinubu who is one of the foremost Nigerians and a Leader of All Progressive Congress for his past efforts in strengthening democracy in the Country.


The IPAC Chairman was at the event with other IPAC members in Ekiti State numbering 14 in numbers, which includes: Chairman of ZLP, Elder Tunde Agbabiaka, Chairman of Action Alliance, Deacon Lanre Anifowose, Chairman of Accord Party, S.I Abiola, Chairman of AAC, Hon. Tayo Lawore, Chairman of YPP, Chief John Filani, Chairman of APGA, Hon. Rufus Alabi among others.
